tIFAM 51

Issue 51 arrives packed with exciting material: shoot reports and a winter-league pictorial from Loch Riach; coverage of the IFAF National Indoor Championships; Mailmatch updates from across the country; and Craigavon’s IFAF double round and single round shoot. A Redfox pictorial returns in full colour, alongside the usual vein of archery philosophy—this time carrying the conversation as far as Karl Marx.

The issue also includes the Shelly’s Archers Almanach, plus columns from Anthony Corcoran and James C. Byrne. Andrew’s much-loved “20 Questions” makes a welcome appearance, featuring a legend of the sport and our very own “Dumbledore of archery”, Nick Anton. Controversy gets a sharp jab with “Smack My Controversy” with Marcin’s new pinching text, followed by Marcin’s selection of favourite historical figures. Art and myth take centre stage in an illustrated lecture on Diana and her nymphs by Domenico Zamprei.

A tribute honours the memory of the recently passed Patt Banon of Laois Archery, and the issue rounds out with a TIFAM youth committee story and Aoibhinn’s quiz.
