From Dublin — via N7/M7
Leave Dublin on the N7, following signs for Naas / Limerick / Cork.
Continue along the N7, which becomes the M7, passing Naas, Newbridge and Kildare. Remain on the M7 in the direction of Portlaoise / Limerick.
Leave the M7 at Junction 16 (Portlaoise East) and follow the local road network for Rathronshin / Redhills.
For the final section of the journey, competitors are strongly advised to use the Google Maps link or GPS coordinates above, as these lead directly to the TIFAM Archers location at Derry Woods.
On reaching Rathronshin, continue along the asphalt road. Rathronshin Angling Club is directly opposite the entrance to the woods and is the principal landmark for the competition entrance.
From Portlaoise — via M7/N7
From Portlaoise, join the M7/N7 eastbound in the direction of Dublin.
Leave at Junction 16 (Portlaoise East) and continue on the local roads for Rathronshin / Redhills.
Use the Google Maps link or GPS coordinates above for the final approach.
Continue along the asphalt road at Rathronshin until you reach Rathronshin Angling Club. The entrance to Derry Woods and the TIFAM Archers competition grounds is directly opposite the Angling Club.

The competition entrance is from the asphalt road at Rathronshin.
Landmark: Rathronshin Angling Club — the entrance to TIFAM Archers at Derry Woods is directly opposite.
Travelling by car from Dublin:
Follow the M7 southbound towards Limerick for a direct route to Portlaoise. Exits 16 and 17 both provide access to the town, though Exit 17 is the more convenient choice for the town centre. For the Competition Ranges, continue to Exit 18. At the first roundabout, turn left, then take the first left again. The route is clearly marked with arrows labelled ETO 2007, and the drive from Exit 18 to the course takes about three minutes.
