Laois, and Portlaoise in particular, offers a strong range of accommodation options to suit a variety of preferences and budgets. Whether you are looking for a hotel, guesthouse, B&B, or a more independent stay, there are a number of possibilities available across the county and surrounding area.
Below is a selection of accommodation providers you may wish to consider when planning your stay for ETO 2027. This list has been prepared to the best of our knowledge and research capacity. Even so, availability, prices, and booking conditions may change, so double-checking all details directly with the accommodation provider is strongly advised.
Please also bear in mind that May in Ireland is a particularly busy time, with weddings, family celebrations, sporting events, and many other occasions taking place throughout the country. For that reason, early booking is very highly advisable. We warmly encourage you not to leave your reservation until the final months before the competition. In truth, the earlier you are able to book your accommodation, the better your choice and availability are likely to be.

Please note that the organising team is unable to provide or arrange camping in woods, fields, or private land, and is also unable to secure campervan spaces on behalf of participants.
Campervan parking options in Laois are limited. The only nearby option we are currently aware of that publicly advertises campervan parking with electric hook-up close to Portlaoise is Treacy’s Pub & Restaurant, The Heath, which has been promoted as offering dedicated campervan spaces with electric hook-up. Anyone intending to travel by campervan is strongly advised to contact Treacy’s directly in advance to confirm availability, facilities, prices, and booking arrangements.
Participants travelling by campervan may also wish to contact service stations along the M7/N7 route to ask whether overnight parking is permitted. Please be aware that service stations may have their own parking rules, time limits, or restrictions, so permission should always be confirmed directly before arrival.
