TIFAM Emerging Authors & Artists Program
Nurturing Voices, Crafting Legacies
At TIFAM, we believe in the power of stories and visual art—expressions that shape the world yet often struggle to find a home. The TIFAM Emerging Authors & Artists Program is a continuous initiative dedicated to fostering new and unpublished writers and visual artists across Ireland, providing them with a structured, supportive pathway from creation to professional publication.
This initiative is deeply rooted in collaborative community engagement, offering emerging writers and illustrators the opportunity to develop their craft over 12 months of serial publication, culminating in a professionally published book. More than a program, it is a space to nurture, mentor, and guide, ensuring that fresh literary and artistic talent can take root and flourish within Ireland’s creative landscape.
Additionally, all submitted works must be thematically linked to archery in some form—whether through historical narratives, fictional stories, personal reflections, or artistic interpretations. The program is particularly interested in works that highlight the values of community, craftsmanship, discipline, and the creative spirit that archery embodies. This ensures a cohesive and meaningful artistic output that remains connected to TIFAM’s ethos while fostering broad creative expression.
How the Program Works
The initiative unfolds in two key phases, allowing authors and visual artists to gradually refine their craft while engaging with a community of readers and fellow creatives.
Phase 1: Monthly Serial Publication & Mentorship
Over the course of twelve months, selected authors contribute monthly serialized segments of their work to TIFAM Magazine, receiving mentorship, editorial support, and opportunities to interact with the community. This phase ensures:
- Regular exposure to a growing audience, helping writers build confidence and refine their work in real-time.
- Editorial mentorship and feedback, guiding authors in strengthening their narrative, style, and storytelling craft.
- Collaboration with visual artists, who provide illustrations, concept sketches, or cover designs to complement the written work.
- A structured creative development process, preparing participants for professional publication.
📌 Financial Information (Phase 1)
As we are in the early stages of the magazine’s publishing development, we do not currently provide financial compensation for serialized content published within the magazine. However, authors will gain invaluable exposure, professional editorial support, and direct interaction with readers and fellow creatives.

Phase 2: Full Book Publication & Professional Launch
At the end of the twelve-month cycle, selected works are curated, refined, and published as a professionally printed book under the TIFAM imprint, featuring:
- Comprehensive editorial refinement and design support, ensuring the highest publishing standards.
- Custom cover art and interior illustrations provided by emerging Irish visual artists.
- A professional book launch, distribution, and marketing strategy, introducing new authors and artists to the wider literary world.
- A lasting presence in Ireland’s literary and artistic landscape, helping authors and illustrators build their credentials and establish their careers.
📌 Financial Information (Phase 2)
For authors whose books are selected for full publication, TIFAM, as a community-driven magazine and publisher, places authors’ welfare at the heart of our mission. We believe that no author should go unpaid for their work, and that fair compensation should be the cornerstone of any publishing endeavor. That is why we offer royalties above industry standards, ensuring that our authors are not only recognized but rewarded in a meaningful way.
Authors receive royalties ranging from 15% (for print) to 30% (for e-books) of the retail price per copy sold. Additionally, once a sales threshold of 1,000 copies is reached, print royalties will increase to 25% of the retail price, further ensuring that authors benefit directly from the success of their work. This model reflects TIFAM’s commitment to supporting creators, valuing their contributions, and providing a sustainable foundation for their literary careers.
