History Bill Stewart who is often referred to as the unknown bowyer and has worked for many of the great well known bowyers such as Fred Bear, Damon Howatt and Bob Lee amongst others. He is the one who worked behind the scenes to innovate, engineer and redesign the bow manufacturing processes of today. In his 7 years with Howatt, Bill designed the Eldorado, Diablo and Howatt Hunter bows. He then worked for Fred Bear for 7 years, they co-designed many longbows, re-curve bows and compounds including the Bear Magnum. More famously he is credited with designing possibly the best looking traditional bow of all time – the Tamerlane as well as the Bear Hunter. He later joined Bob Lee where he co-designed the Red Wing Hunter, White Wing and Presentation II, a target take down bow.
