Now entering its second year, the TIFAM Youth Merit Cup continues to celebrate the spirit, dedication, and contribution of young archers across Ireland.
Unlike performance-based awards, the Youth Merit Cup recognises those aged 10–18 who go beyond scores and medals. This is about honouring the young people who embody the heart of the sport—those who take part actively in their clubs, support events, help others, and promote archery in thoughtful, generous ways.
The Cup is open to all young archers across the island of Ireland, from any club or organisation, North or South. To be eligible, the nominee must have been a club member for at least one full year.
Each club is invited to nominate one youth archer using the official nomination form, which must be signed and dated by both the club chair and a parent or guardian. All valid nominees will receive a personalised certificate, and the top three will be recognised at an IFAF shoot at the end of August or early September — venue and details coming soon.
- 🏆 The overall winner will receive the TIFAM Youth Merit Cup 2025 (a perpetual trophy)
- 🥈 Second and 🥉 third place recipients will receive formal commendations at the festival
The deadline for nominations is Friday, 1st August 2025 (close of business). No late entries will be considered.
