On weather phenomena and archery

As I start to write this article it is 1am on Jan 24th 2025 as the much anticipated and dreaded storm Eowyn is raging outside and I am wondering how bad it will be over the next 10 hours . Already the lights have flickered off and back on and we have had reports in County Wexford of trees down and the peak of the storm is still an hour or two away. We went to the liberty of having battery lights and fake candles lit and torches at the ready throughout the house as the kids were quite uneasy about the whole affair. Everything possible in the house is fully charged like phones, consoles, power banks and flash lamps. It is lashing down rain presently and I have one ominous 60 foot Leylandi tree outside that has managed to survive several bad storms including Darwin, Ophelia and Darragh but will it survive this one…
